PD Day Camp
Member price: $67.80+GST per day
Enjoy a day off from school learning about conservation and spending time in the Edmonton River Valley.
PD Day camps are open to youth ages 8-11 (grades 3-6) and run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Youth Summer Camps 2024
Week-long Day Camps in the Edmonton River Valley
Trail Blazers
(July 2-5 & August 6-9)
4 Day Camp; $275+GST
This camp’s focus is to blaze a trail through the natural spaces in Edmonton. Campers will learn about survival, active living, and photography. Youth will depart from the drop off location and spend their days hiking, taking photos, and learning key survival skills to support an active lifestyle. A different area of the White Mud Creek Ravine and/or North Saskatchewan River Valley will be explored each day.
Aerial Adventurers
(July 8-12 & August 12-16)
5 Day Camp; $325+GST
This camp’s will have campers reaching skyward. Birding and flying activities will be the focus. Campers will learn about birds in the area and build bird feeders, bug hotels, and kites. Campers will l also get a bird’s eye view of the Whitemud Creek area when they visit the Snow Valley Aerial Park.
Earth Enthusiasts
(July 15-19 & August 19-23)
5 Day Camp; $325+GST
This camp will focus on the connection with the land and programs offered will focus on land-based skills. The excursion for this camp is a day trip to Fort Edmonton Park where youth will participate in an Indigenous Experience, learn about the history of the fur trade on this land and the fur bearing animals who use this land as habitat, and enjoy some time at the Fort Edmonton Park Midway.
Water Wanderers
(July 22-26 & July 29 - August 2)
5 Day Camp; $325+GST
Campers will explore the principles of water in this camp. Activities have an extra focus on sustainable practices surrounding water. Pond dipping and fishing basics will be part of this camp. The field trip experience for this camp is a tour of Borden Pool, Canada's first and only natural swimming pool, followed by a swim at the center.
