Fishing Competition Series

Welcome to Alberta Wildlife Federation’s Fishing Challenge Series

The Alberta Wildlife Federation is proud to host a province wide series of competitive angling events, open to anglers of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned tournament competitor or a weekend fisher looking for a new adventure, this is your chance to compete, explore Alberta’s waters, and win cash prizes.

All competitions are hosted through the Angler’s Atlas / MyCatch App, making it easy to register, log your catches, and track your standings in real time.

How It Works
Our competition series is designed to be accessible, conservation‑minded, and fun. Everything is managed digitally through the MyCatch App, ensuring accurate catch reporting and minimal impact on fish populations.

How to Enter
Joining the competition is simple:

1. Download the MyCatch App or go to the website (www.AnglersAtlas.com)
2. Create your login profile
3. Search for “Alberta Wildlife Federation” competitions
4. Select your event and complete registration
5. Pay the entry fee
6. Start fishing once the event opens

All entries must be submitted through the app with timestamped photos and required catch details.

Scoring
- Anglers submit photos of their catches through the app
- Length‑based scoring determines standings
- Leaderboards update automatically throughout the event
- All species‑specific rules are listed in each event’s description

Eligible Waters
Events may be province‑wide or lake‑specific depending on the competition. Check each event page for details and rules.
