    Salary Range: $30.00 – $36.47 per hour ($62,000 – $71,097 annually)
    Hours of Work: Up to 37.5 hours/week (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, occasional weekends)

Based in Edmonton, we are growing our impact and are looking for a dynamic individual to support executive operations and organizational efficiency.

    About the Role

    The Executive Assistant to the CEO provides high-level administrative, scheduling, and governance support to ensure smooth executive operations.

    As a trusted partner to the CEO, you will coordinate calendars, manage communications, prepare meeting materials, support Board operations, and handle a wide range of administrative functions essential to the Federation’s success.

    What You’ll DoExecutive Support

    • Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and daily workflow

    • Prioritize scheduling requests and ensure strategic use of the CEO’s time

    • Prepare briefing notes, meeting agendas, follow-ups, and supporting documents

    • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times

    Board and Governance Support

    • Coordinate board and committee meeting logistics

    • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, agendas, and briefing packages

    • Attend meetings and record accurate minutes

    • Track action items and ensure timely follow-up

    Administration & Organizational Support

    • Book travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries

    • Support staff with administrative tasks, filing, and information management

    • Assist with data entry into CRM systems, donor databases, or internal systems

    • Track expenses, invoices, and administrative records

    • Support organizational workflows and cross-department coordination

    Communication & Coordination

    • Monitor incoming emails and requests to the CEO and redirect as appropriate

    • Draft and proofread professional correspondence

    • Maintain brand and communication standards in all materials

    • Assist with report preparation as required

    What You Bring

    • Proven experience providing executive-level administrative support

    • Strong calendar management and scheduling skills

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication

    • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

    • Ability to work with discretion and handle confidential information

    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including AI tools

    • Experience taking minutes and supporting governance processes

    • Ability to work independently and anticipate needs

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of administrative or Executive Assistant experience

    • Experience supporting senior leaders

    • Diploma or Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field

    • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

    About the Role

    As our Manager of Marketing. Philanthropy & Events, you’ll lead the development of marketing, communications, donor engagement, and event strategies that grow the visibility and impact of the Alberta Wildlife Federation. This role combines creative brand leadership with hands-on fundraising and stewardship, ensuring our story resonates with members, partners, and supporters across Alberta.

    What You’ll Do:

    Marketing & Communications

    • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns

    • Create engaging content including newsletters, communiqués, articles, and digital materials

    • Manage brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across platforms

    • Oversee website updates, digital presence, and online engagement

    • Handle media relations, including drafting media releases and coordinating responses

    Philanthropy & Fund Development

    • Plan and implement donor campaigns and fundraising initiatives

    • Strengthen relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners

    • Produce fundraising and donor-focused materials, including impact updates and campaign collateral

    • Support sponsorship outreach and philanthropic partnerships

    Events & Engagement

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute conferences, webinars, ceremonies, and tradeshows

    • Manage event budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships

    Publications & Organizational Support

    • Produce major publications including the annual report and program guides

    • Collaborate with internal teams to support organizational priorities

    • Provide communication advice and brand guidance across the organization

    What You Bring

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)

    • Substantial experience planning and managing a variety of events

    • Excellent written and verbal communication

    • Creative, collaborative mindset

    • Strong understanding of digital and social trends

    • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years experience in marketing or communications

    • Proven success in marketing/fundraising strategies

    • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

    • Class 5 driver’s license

  • Spring Break - Conservation Day Camp Leader

    Location: Edmonton, AB
    Position Type: Term Position
    Program Dates: March 23–26, 2026
    Salary: $21.00 / Hour
    Hours per week: Up to 40 hours
    Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:30–4:30)

    Job Overview

    Here at the Alberta Wildlife Federation, we are Alberta’s leaders in conservation promoting responsible stewardship, and our provincial network of clubs and members. We are hiring an energetic and enthusiastic conservation program leaders to deliver program including our summer day camps.

    Job Description

    • Plan and deliver programs including summer day camps

    • Monitor and supervisor program participants

    • Equipment inspection, review and inventories

    • Event support

    • Sign children in and out of camp with the authorized individual

    • Conduct safety assessments of work location each day before and during programs

    • Provide appropriate first aid treatment to program participants as needed

    • Prepare reports as required

    • Promote the Alberta Wildlife Federation, our programs, and products at meetings and events

    • Contribute to publications (magazines, newsletters, annual report, etc.) by writing articles, reports, and summaries as required

    • Follow and adhere to safe work practices, policies, and procedures

    • Other administrative duties as assigned

    • Current Intermediate First Aid, AED, and CPR

    • Experience delivering programs to children would be an asset

    • Post secondary education in physical activity, biology, science, or education would be an asset

    • Class 5 driver’s license

    • The successful candidate will be required to provide a clear vulnerable sector police information check
