Youth in Conservation

Education Through Outdoor Exploration

Step into adventure with Youth in Conservation, a series of outdoor kids camps by the Alberta Wildlife Federation

Is your child a mini adventurer in the making?

Let your child embark on their journey with four distinct camp themes to choose from!

Open and welcoming to youths in Edmonton and the surrounding area, our camps offer the perfect opportunity to explore the outdoors all year round.

Each camp provides ample opportunities to spend time outdoors, exploring the Edmonton River Valley, while gaining invaluable and transferable skills, knowledge, and connections, all while staying physically active. Kids will bond with others their age in a positive environment, learning to participate in outdoor activities in a safe, responsible, and ethical manner—skills that can be carried forward to other areas of their lives.

Get ready for a week of outdoor fun, wildlife exploration, and making new friends!
