About the Club
Wildwood & District Rod and Gun Club is a volunteer-run outdoor club offering a well-maintained gun range, trap shoots, and family-friendly fishing opportunities at Stone’s Pond. Members are encouraged to help keep facilities in great shape through clean-up and maintenance days throughout the year.
Affiliation & Member Benefits
Wildwood is an Alberta Wildlife Federation (AWF) affiliated club. Through the club’s affiliation, members share in AWF-provided benefits such as liability insurance coverage, conservation advocacy, and an AWF magazine subscription, along with additional retailer discounts available through the member portal after sign-up.
Membership Term & Availability
Memberships run April 1 to March 31 each year
Renewals open February 1
New memberships open April 1 (as space allows)
Membership cap: 750
New Member Requirement
All new members (and returning members who let their membership lapse) must attend a mandatory range orientation before using the range.
Highlights
Trap shoots (seasonal): $5 per round (25 shots)
Stone’s Pond stocked with Rainbow Trout each May (Alberta regulations apply)

Affiliated Membership FAQs

No. Purchasing a membership with an affiliated club does not make you a direct AWF member.
You are a member of the club you joined, and through that club’s affiliation, you are able to access benefits that AWF provides to affiliated clubs and their members. -
AWF benefits are the same province-wide. Club benefits—such as range access, events, or volunteer requirements—are set by each individual club.

Questions about club activities, facilities, or memberships should be directed to the club you select. AWF can assist with questions related to AWF benefits.

Yes. Some members choose to join multiple clubs. Each club manages its own membership and fees.
